Evan walked to the front of the amusment park holding two tickets. He was dressed in a beatles tee shirt black skinnies his favorite boots and his hair done. Declan was right about the blow drying, but never would admit it.

Considering that they were going to an amusement park, Carly had decided against a dress. Instead, she opted for mustard shorts, a plain white shirt, and oxfords, along with a blue and gold letterman. She hadn't put much effort into straightening her hair, so it well in loose waves. "Hi Evan!" She waved at him, making her way through a throng of teenagers over to where he stood.

He smiled looking at her up and down. "Beautiful..." He said looking at her some more. He handed her a ticket bringing her hand too his lips and kissing it gently. "How are you?"

"Are you serious?" She turned, shocked. VIP passes weren't exactly cheap - there was a reason that not everyone bought one instead of waiting in line. "Ugh, you are so great." Carly grinned.

He smirked pretending to dust off dust on his shirt. "I try I try..." He smiled holding her smallish hand in his bigger one. The size made him smile wider and he put the vip pass lanyard around her neck. "You're my VIP..." He cheekily joked.

Carly grinned and kissed him. On the cheek, of course. You had to make them work for what they wanted! "Confession? Roller coasters aren't exactly my best friend." It had been a long time since she'd been to an amusement park for the rides. She'd gone a couple times with friends, but that was mainly just to wander around and eat cotton candy. The last time she had ridden one, it had taken about an hour of persuasion to get on, but admittedly, it had been pretty fun. But that was back in sixth grade. She didn't feel nearly as scared now, however. "Keep me close?" She asked him, raising an eyebrow and maybe smirking.

He nodded and kissed her cheek his lips right against the corner of her mouth and smiling slightly. "I'll always keep you close Carly..." He said keeping one arm around her.

She smiled and nodded. Showing the guy their VIP cards, they stepped into the empty VIP lane and watched as the Ferris wheel slowly came to a stop. She pulled away to slide into the seat and patted the space next to her.

She leaned out over the edge of the cart as the wheel began moving once again, watching everything become, very slowly, smaller and smaller. The air felt clearer as they rose, which made her close her eyes and inhale very deeply. Autumn smells were some of the best smells. "I'm basically fearless now." She opened her eyes again and peered down at the tiny figures below.

"Well that's a surprise." She smiled. "I struggle to understand myself sometimes." She sighed and leaned on his shoulder once again. "You have a really great shoulder, you hear? And a really nice hand. Also your face. Like your eyes. They're pretty nifty, I must say."
